The Blair Witch Project (1999)

The Blair Witch Project is a low-budget found-footage horror movie that follows three film students as they plunge into the depths of a cursed forest before they disappear in mysterious circumstances. Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez's 1999 movie was a cinematic phenomenon not only because of its innovative format at the time but also because of its viral marketing campaign, which suggested the events of the story were real.
