Bryan Singer's Superman Returns follows the events surrounding the hero's return to Earth after a five-year absence. Summary
Following a mysterious absence of several years, Superman (Brandon Routh) returns to Earth, but things have changed. While an old enemy plots to render Superman powerless once and for all, The Man of Steel faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth), has moved on with her life.
