Resident Evil 5 brings back Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine center stage to finally bring an end to the Albert Wesker saga of the franchise. Years after the supposed death of his partner Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield is dispatched to Kijuju, Africa, with new partner Sheva Alomar to track down a black market dealer known as Ricardo Irving. Ricardo is known to have a dangerous bioweapon, and the B.S.A.A. has deployed large teams to route him before it's too late. However, as Chris and Sheva dig deeper into their investigation/hunt, they discover not only is Albert Wesker alive and orchestrating the current events, Jill may still be alive.

Summary
Resident Evil 5 brings back Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine center stage to finally bring an end to the Albert Wesker saga of the franchise. Years after the supposed death of his partner Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield is dispatched to Kijuju, Africa, with new partner Sheva Alomar to track down a black market dealer known as Ricardo Irving. Ricardo is known to have a dangerous bioweapon, and the B.S.A.A. has deployed large teams to route him before it's too late. However, as Chris and Sheva dig deeper into their investigation/hunt, it's revealed that not only is Albert Wesker alive and orchestrating the current events, Jill may still be active. Chris and Sheva will have to work together to find Jill and finally put an end to Wesker once and for all. Resident Evil 5 returns to the over-the-shoulder action gameplay popularized in Resident Evil 4; however, this time, the franchise included co-operative play for the entire campaign - a series first. Players can play as Sheva and Chris, rushing to each other's aid, trading weapons, ammo, and more as they fight through Kijuju and reach the end. Resident Evil 5 has since been released on most modern consoles since its initial release on March 5 2009.
