Insatiable was a dark Comedy television series created by Lauren Gussis and based on "The Pageant King of Alabama," a New York Times article from Jeff Chu. The series ran for two seasons between 2018 and 2019. Starring Dallas Roberts, Debby Ryan, and Christopher Gorham, the story follows a young bullied overweight girl that loses the extra pounds, vows revenge on her bullies, and ends up on the path to becoming a beauty queen.
