Hell on Wheels (2011)
Created for AMC television, Hell on Wheels is a Western series that tells the story of a Confederate soldier who joins the construction project of the first transcontinental railroad built in the United States as a means to hunt down the murderers of his family during the Civil War. The story uses this soldier as a framing device for the show's historical retelling of several pivotal moments in the reconstruction of the United States post Civil War.

Summary
